Solitude, embraced amidst vivacity, gives birth to sublime masterpieces.
Born in China, I received an indoctrinating education, which may not necessarily be deemed negative since true freedom is elusive. Although young and lacking notable accomplishments, my thoughts are often naive. Nonetheless, it does not hinder my passion for making predictions, as I have consistently been accurate in big events in my domain. This is the only aspect of my life in which I possess confidence.
I am not part of the impoverished lower class, yet I genuinely enjoy engaging with such individuals. The essence of political and economic decision-making is the pretense of satisfying the majority while truly catering to the interests of the elite.
I was raised with a materialistic worldview, firmly believing that material possessions epitomize reality. However, as I gradually freed myself from familial constraints, I discovered that if the meaning of life lies in pursuing happiness, material possessions can even be disregarded since happiness is intrinsic. Whether one possesses material wealth or not does not directly dictate one's happiness. It is only that which convinces you of your own happiness that truly brings joy.
About Trading: It compels me to contemplate the path ahead. In essence, trading is akin to gambling, albeit with unknown variables. Similar to gambling, if you are unsure whose money you are truly profiting from at the gaming table, then you will be the only loser. Trading does not bring happiness, it merely provides a sense of excitement. Perhaps this stems from my upbringing, where I experienced hardship, leading me to believe that happiness is unreal. Only through suffering and excitement can I truly perceive my existence in this world. I prefer engaging in high leverage and spot trading, focusing solely on ETFs, A-shares, and some US stocks. In the past, I devoted years to studying listed companies in the A-share market and macroeconomics. However, I was naive back then, foolishly attempting to explain baffling occurrences in China using economic theories. The premise for the establishment of economics is the freedom of trade among the masses and oversight of political governance. However, in a country like China, where politics and business intertwine, and the significance of politics far outweighs that of commerce, traditional economics does not exist. That is why several years ago, I shifted my focus towards studying the political dynamics and power plays within China, though I know it's almost impossible to create an image that depicts the whole graph.
About Predictions: In fact, life can be likened to a Markov chain, with one link connected to another. Once an event occurs, subsequent events are bound to follow, whether or not we have the capability to perceive them. An individual's access to information is determined by their social standing. However, the opposite is not true. Even if one's social standing is not high enough, it is still possible to seek out more information. The world is filled with countless events, and making predictions often does not require knowledge of the most confidential perspectives. Instead, it can be accomplished through numerous ordinary events, calculating the most probable future scenarios through sufficient experiential input, as exemplified by Bayesian models. As for conclusion, relative to the period from 2000 to 2020, the vast majority of individuals will undergo pronounced unhappiness and a gradual sense of hopelessness within the ensuing three decades. I can only hope to be fortunate enough to witness events that are incredibly irrational, surpassing my own understanding, and immensely stimulating. It is through continuous contemplation and making rational decisions that I can feel my journey in this world has been worthwhile.
About Mathematics: Mathematics encompasses immutable laws, serving as the exclusive instrument available to humankind in comprehending the underlying patterns that govern the world and enabling accurate predictions. But bear in mind that no matter when, the domain knowledge matters more.
